KFC has always brought you finger lickin’ good chicken for the past 50 years and to celebrate they are inviting you on a Gold hunt.

Celebrating their 50 years in Mzansi, KFC has launched a competition where customers may possibly win a share of R50 million in Real Gold. You may not have gone on an egg hunt this past Easter weekend, but you still have a chance to go on a Golden Hunt.

The competition runs from the 30th of March until 7 June 2021. Customers are eligible to win by simply purchasing any Golden bucket for one ,9-piece bucket,15-piece bucket or 21-piece bucket, they may purchase the chicken via the KFC app, the drive thru, ordering online or at any KFC store nationwide. The buckets have been revamped with gold foiling to remind KFC customers to dig in while they may stand a chance to win Gold.

General Manager of KFC RoSSA and Chief Marketing Officer of KFC Africa, Dhruv Kaul states that the reason behind the competition is that, “Turning 50 in South Africa means a lot to us at KFC but more than anything, it’s an opportunity for KFC to thank those that have made the iconic brand the success it is today. From our teams to all our partners, but most importantly, our devoted fans that have supported KFC with their patronage over the past 5 decades. Therefore, we wanted to go for gold with our celebrations and offer Mzansi the chance to win gold through our famous iconic buckets. While it might be our 50th this year, it’s certainly Mzansi’s celebration.”

The winner will receive a one-ounce KFC Real Golden Token made from 24 Carat Gold and follow the instructions on the slip to enter. So be sure to purchase the Golden bucket to join the hunt. Who knows today might be your lucky day.
