Italian Gin Launches first campaign in South Africa #CiaoMalfy

If you know anything about La Dolce Vita, you’ll know that it’s a sequence of luxury living. A sprezzatura lifestyle made of experiences of comfort, pleasure, and passion. This summer, international super-premium gin, Malfy, will embrace and embody what locals refer to as La Dolce Vita or the ‘soft life’. Bringing this Italian flair to everyday life, the Italian gin launched its first campaign in South Africa called ‘CiaoMalfy’ at the Palazzo.

The brand has partnered with three Amazing women to become the brand ambassadors, Tshego Manche, Kefilwe Mabote and K Naomi. The three are known for their affluent lifestyle full of travel, fashion and lovely food.  

We had a chat with brand ambassador, Tshego Manche, co-founder of La Mont Clothing and digital content creator on their partnership with Malfy. Tshego told us that she was contacted by the brand to partner and that excited her since the brand related more with her and her persona. She continued to tell us that since the brand is more like family than a partnership, it allows her to be herself other than to forge a different personality to fit a brand. “When they contacted me it all made sense, since the brand is about lifestyle, family and good times, and that’s what I’m about,” she said. She continued to tell us that she loves that Malfy played with flavours for people who love gin, but want a different flavour.

The three ambassadors, together with Malfy will bring to our local terrain, a spirit of the Almafi coast that portrays the tranquillity, leisure and style of Italians.
