The (Granny) Mouse Is Back In The House – We’re Re-Opening On 1 July

Escape from the monotony of the suburbs and let your hair down in the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. Granny Mouse – everyone’s favourite home away from home – is just that and will be welcoming guests from July 1.

Think crisp early mornings and walks in the countryside, log fires and good red wine and you’ll be itching to contact book your long overdue sojourn away from the tedium of lockdown.

If you haven’t joined our favourite grandparent for a great break in the countryside before, now’s your perfect chance to experience some of the best hospitality that the Midlands has to offer.

Nestled in the heart of the KwaZulu Natal Midlands, Granny Mouse Country House & Spa offers the perfect combination of relaxation and luxury. With a heritage spanning 30 years, award-winning cuisine and wine, coupled with a host of elegant accommodation options, this is the perfect place to recharge before heading back to the “new normal”.

As true professionals, we’ll be adhering to all the required protocols to ensure our guests’ safety, so expect full screening on arrival, a pre and post stay questionnaire and hand sanitisers and more. Our team has been trained to keep all back and front-of-house areas clean and wipe down all public areas. After all, we know that if we make sure you’re healthy and safe, you’ll be sure to return for another visit.

We have reviewed our breakfast offering and have replaced our usual buffet with a possible a la carte breakfast option presented to guests. Our usual hot breakfasts are still made to order.

Although we are encouraging romantic in-room dining, our culinary team have sharpened their carving knives and are stirring up a storm so that they can also serve you in our dining rooms (where social distancing and other safety measures will be in place).
